ABOUT

Michelle Bāzis is a visual artist based in Northwest Arkansas. Her paintings and photography are inspired by her love of storytelling, culture, and the outdoors. Born and raised in the Midwest, her love of the arts began as a child playing music with her father, coloring with her mother, cooking with her grandmother, and performing as a competitive dancer.  
 

A graduate of the University of Nebraska, Michelle has built a career as a creative storyteller. Having studied journalism and fine art, she has worked for several art and entertainment organizations, and her journalistic skills as both a writer and photographer have been trusted by lifestyle and tourism brands around the world.

When she isn't working on creative projects, Michelle loves to travel and enjoy the outdoors with her husband, Ben.  You'll likely find her exploring the trails and lakes in Northwest Arkansas, browsing a farmers market, enjoying live music, or cooking with loved ones.
